Requirements if interviewing under the Articling Transitional option:
o Supply (at least 3 weeks prior to your interview date) 3 work product samples, each copied in triplicate, to the Association office. In selecting these work samples we recommend that you choose work that you either have recently completed, or spent a fairly extensive amount of time on.
Requirements if interviewing under the Applied Experience program option:
o complete Introductory Interview Agenda application in conjunction with mentor print pdf of form here
o meet with Board of Examiners to ensure the report generated from the Interview Agenda application complies with the Institute's expectations for the AEP program
o after the requisite six month (minimum) time frame has elapsed, arrangements are made for second interview. The candidate must submit 3 work product samples, each copied in triplicate, to the Association office for this final interview.

Typically, interviews are held in the two major centres within this province (i.e. Regina and Saskatoon). The Board of Examiners schedules the Oral Interviews around the dates of the Spring and Fall conferences. You will receive formal written confirmation of your interview date and location from the Association.

Once the interview is complete, the Board of Examiners will advise the candidate whether s/he is recommended for designation status. If the candidate was successful, the turnaround time for a member to receive his or her designation (in the form of a congratulatory letter from the National CEO) is approximately one week. We do not recommend that you start using your designation until that time.

A few weeks later the Association office receives from Head Office your unframed designation certificate. It is the custom of the Association to pay for the framing of your certificate and present it to you at the AGM held each spring in a special recognition ceremony. However, we are open to providing this certificate to you at any time. Just advise us of your wish to have the certificate before the AGM and we will forward it to you.
