SALARY EXPECTATIONS

An accredited appraiser can earn an attractive living. Most established AACIs earn anywhere from $65,000 to over $100,000. You may just be starting out in a large private firm as a junior appraiser or researcher. Starting salaries for non-designated members in Saskatchewan are approximately $25,000 - $30,000, depending on where you are working.

Your earnings will also be reflected by the sector of the economy where you work. For instance, you may be a valuator within an institutional setting with a well-defined salary structure. However, you may choose to set up a solo private practice in an area where few appraisers are operating, and your earnings will be related directly to how assertively you generate your client base.
